Ask and You Shall Receive

The saying is true … to get what you want, you have to ask for it. No one is going to just give it to you. Ask and you shall receive. In network marketing, that means sharing the products you represent and then “Asking” to take the next step …

Ask questions to build rapport

When meeting with one person or many, always ask the person or people you are meeting with to share something about themself. Ask questions, then listen to what people are sharing about what they like or don’t like, want and desire. Connect with the person or people you are sharing with to build rapport.

Ask for an opinion about the samples you shared

Always, always, always follow-up after sharing a product sample or doing a product demo. The biggest mistake marketers make in this business is to assume that if someone likes the sample shared, they’ll contact you. Don’t wait for a call, call or contact them after a few days to ask their opinion of the sample or product shared. You may just find on this call that they haven’t even had the chance to use the sample yet. They’ll appreciate the call to remind them to try it. After they’ve had a chance to try the sample, ask what they liked or didn’t like, then listen to learn what they are looking for to see if you can meet their needs or solve a problem with the products you represent.

Ask for the order

Surprisingly more often than not, we share the products and our experience using the products and we end the conversation there. The last step to close the sale is to “Ask” for the order. Ask which product or products could they see themselves using. Ask if they would be happy if a product shared could solve one of the problems they expressed bothered them. Share any specials being offered to help them get the best deal possible on the products they show interest in to close the sale.

Ask for referrals

Always, always, always ask for referrals. Ask if they can think of anyone else they know that would appreciate the products too. Offer to share samples for anyone they can think of. Ask if they would like to host an event for you with a few of their closest friends at a later date. Be sure to share the benefits to them for hosting for you (i.e. free products or discounts on the products they want).

Ask them to join your team

Always, always, always ask if they would be interested in joining your team! Express how excited you would be to work with them and to build a business together. Share the benefits you’ve experienced doing the business. Share with them “why” you do the business, not how you do it. “People don’t buy what you do … they buy Why you do it,” says motivational speaker and author Simon Sinek.

Bottomline, you’ll never know if someone is interested in your products, in buying from you, in helping you share the products, or joining your team unless you ask them. And if you never ask, the answer will always be “no.” So, just ask!

Right Now Retailer – Larry Anguish

Recognizing outstanding retailing results!

LarryAngishLarry Anguish | Consultant from Texas
Joined: February 2014
Top 5 Weekly Retailer: September and October 2014
Top 10 Monthly Retailer: September and October 2014

Since I was a kid, hair and skincare have always played an influential role in my life. In 1971, my mother, Joy Anguish became the first female barber in the state of Texas and later went back to school to earn her Esthetician license. Growing up, I was constantly exposed to the art of cutting hair and became greatly influenced by my mother’s passion for hair and skincare. So much so, that in 2006 I opened LaBella Salon and Med Spa in Lindale, Texas, and asked my mom to be the salon’s Esthetician.

I was in the market for a new skincare line that I could use in my salon for facial treatments when Sherri Bradly introduced me to Apriori Beauty. Instead of jumping right in as a Consultant, I started off as Client because I felt it was important to test Apriori Beauty’s products on myself before introducing them to Clients at the salon. My Clients trust me and I don’t feel comfortable sharing a product unless I believe in the product 100%. It wasn’t long after I started using Apriori Beauty that I decided to introduce it into my salon. Apriori Beauty’s products speak for themselves: they’re safe, pure, and effective! I knew that if I was impressed with the results I was receiving after using the products, my salon Clients would definitely love and appreciate them. Needless to say, it was an easy decision to carry Apriori Beauty in LaBella Salon and Med Spa.

A majority of my Apriori Beauty Clients have been referred to me via word of mouth because of my salon facials. When I have a new Apriori Beauty facial Client, I take it as an opportunity for them to experience the entire Celloxylin® line on their face. As I’m applying each product on their skin, I’m explaining HOW each product is working and WHY I’m using it. I could be there all day explaining the benefits of using Apriori Beauty, but until I actually get the product(s) on their skin and they can see the results, it’s likely they won’t purchase. Information is key, but results sell!

Being an Apriori Beauty Consultant has not only benefited me, but LaBella Salon and Med Spa as well. My Clients now have access to quality hair and skincare, and the income I generate from retailing helps to financially support my salon and staff. Passion for hair and skincare has always been the driving force behind LaBella Salon and I feel fortunate to have found a skincare that not only enforces my belief for safe and effective products, but also allows me to build a sustainable business just by sharing them.

Supporting Your New Consultant

SusanTwellmanBy Susan Twellman, Co-Owner/Founder of Apriori Beauty, LLC

Support is the main ingredient when striving for success.  We all need it, and more importantly, we all need to give it – especially, when sponsoring new Consultants. A lot of Consultants lose momentum and come close to quitting after only two months because they’re unsure of how to start and establish their new business.  As their sponsor, you want to make yourself available and let them know they’re not in this business alone.  Without smothering them, stay in contact weekly, sending friendly reminders via text or email about Consultant trainings and calls (i.e. “Walk the Talk”) that they can benefit from, while including simple tips that they can practice and apply. Sometimes, your new Consultant may need that boost of support to help their business get off the ground.

With your new Consultant, I highly recommend go through the Starter Kit with them.  When they pull out the product samples, steer them away from handing out samples to family members right away because most likely, their family will automatically support them by purchasing products, or even signing up as a Consultant. Instead, ask them to make a list of new people they can share Apriori Beauty with and hand those 5 people samples. Our goal is to turn those samples into sales, thus helping your new Consultant gain an instant return investment!  Our products are amazing and once people get them on their face, they’re going to purchase.  Get your Consultant excited and encourage them to step outside their box.  Share your stories and situations you’ve come across in your business – your lessons learned can be their guiding force.peercoach

Here are a few tips on how to support your new Consultants:
1. Walk them through the Consultant Back Office and confirm they’ve registered for their Apriori Beauty MasterCard so they can get paid.
2. Go through the Starter Kit together
3. Help them make their list of 5 people to share their first samples with (don’t share samples with family because they will already support you)
4. Show them how to register Clients and place Clients order via the Consultant Back Office
5. Help them earn “right now/weekly” money and immediately see financial results
6. Encourage them to “sponsor” a buddy – a friend who could join them on this new adventure

Your support and motivation will be the guiding force in leading your new Consultant to success.
