With the increase of online retailers, more and more shoppers are skipping the packed malls and choosing to do their holiday shopping from the comfort of their own home. Apriori Beauty’s wide selection of skincare and health products are sold exclusively through Independent Consultants, where Clients have the option of purchasing online, over the phone, or directly through their Apriori Beauty Consultant. Whereas online shopping is easy and convenient, often times Clients prefer that one-on-one customer service they receive from their personal Consultant. I began my journey with Apriori Beauty in February of 2009 when I made the decision to support the concept of developing pure, safe skincare by becoming a founding member. It was then that I made the commitment to support Apriori Beauty and am every bit as dedicated today as I was six years ago.

Apriori Beauty offers the opportunity of using and loving the products and also sharing them. That is exactly what I do every day and is the reason behind my thriving business success. I’m enthusiastic about the products and the results I’ve experienced. When I share with new people, they’re not always listening to the words coming out of my mouth but rather looking at my face as my skin is proof that these products work. I’ll be 67 this coming January and if you ask me I look and feel years younger and it’s all due to Apriori Beauty. This has definitely been a benefit when introducing Apriori Beauty. When people see that you are the walking example of what our products can do for you, they want to know more. Know that being a walking advertisement for your business doesn’t just pertain to your skin and appearance. Attitude is everything. People aren’t naive – they can tell when you’re trying to “sell” something and are likely to shut down to anything you’re saying. Passion speaks louder than words and it helps that I exude happiness whenever I talk about Apriori Beauty. Others hear the enthusiasm in my voice as I relay how the products have changed the way I look and feel. Their excitement only grows and soon they’re intrigued when they hear about the successful business I’ve created simply by using, loving, and sharing these incredible products. They also notice how I’m able to put God and my family first and still be able to run a profitable business. How many people are able to make a sustainable income by sharing products they genuinely use and love? It’s rare, trust me.

I have been able to persevere my business through various obstacles in my life. Right after becoming a Founder with Apriori Beauty, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and since then, I’ve had numerous surgeries, yet my business continues to remain strong. There were times where I was on bed rest or my energy was at extreme low, but it never stopped me from sharing Apriori Beauty. Whether it was a phone call, text message, or email, this business has given me the flexibility to work it from anywhere (including a hospital bed!) and prove to myself that nothing can keep me or my business down. Regardless of the health situations I’ve been faced with, I’ve remained positive and passionate throughout. People notice when you are passionate about what you believe in and represent, which has been the core reason for my business’ growth and ability to remain strong.

You may hear me talk about passion quite frequently and that’s because it plays a fundamental role in my business. Passionate and positive people attract others. People hear and see us and want to know what we’re doing that’s making us so happy. As Apriori Beauty Consultants, we have a one-of-a-kind opportunity to share with others. As a Founder, I’ve been with Apriori Beauty from the beginning, before there were even any products! I’ve not only been able to see this Company expand and develop, but have also seen the change in myself as well, both personally and professionally. Over the past few years, I have come to learn a lot of successful business tips, all which have been instrumental in growing and maintaining a steady retail business.

So much of this business is relationship building, and as a people person, I thrive off of meeting new people and hearing their stories. Whether I’m developing a personal relationship or sharing something I love about Apriori Beauty, the first step in getting there is to just start the conversation. Instead of pre-judging those I come across, I look at everyone as an opportunity, who I can talk and share Apriori Beauty with. With this mindset, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain! It’s common for me to introduce myself to strangers just about everywhere I go and I like to begin every conversation with a compliment. Who doesn’t love hearing something nice about themselves? I know I do, plus it poses as a natural segue into skincare and health. When meeting and talking to others, you first need to be confident and believe in yourself. You wouldn’t be interested in learning about and purchasing products from someone who appeared to doubt what they were saying, would you? Of course not, which is why it’s imperative you not only know what you’re talking about, but also believe in it 100% (easy to do when sharing Apriori Beauty).

As if starting the conversation isn’t daunting enough for some, I’ve heard a lot of people ask, “what do I say?” when speaking with new and potential Clients. If I’m meeting someone for the first time, I share a product that relates to our conversation. For example, if it’s flu season, then I focus on our incredible Lifeoxylin® Cellular Defense Elixir. If the weather is changing (hot to cold / cold to hot), I introduce the Celloxylin® Enzyme Activated Micro Scrub and Hydro-Burst Moisture Intense Lotion. For every conversation topic, you’re likely to find a product you can bring up in the conversation. When I’m sitting down with a new Client, I make a point to pull out my Apriori Beauty catalog and go through it with them, showing the various products and benefits each product provides. If you’re stumped for words or unsure of how to introduce the products into your conversation, rely on your own personal experiences with Apriori Beauty. Your best selling point is your testimonial. People can hear lists of ingredients and facts, but when it comes down to it, they want to know why you use and love Apriori Beauty and what it’s done for you.

If someone brushes you off or says they’re not interested, don’t take it personally. Chances are, they’re saying “no” because they’re unsure of switching skincare or possibly unaware of the many benefits Apriori Beauty can provide their skin, health, and even financial situation. Don’t let their “no” paralyze you. Instead, make a note to reach out to them in a month or two and casually bring up Apriori Beauty into the conversation. People’s lives and situations change and it’s possible that whereas last month wasn’t right for them, they’re now in a different place and open to hearing about and trying Apriori Beauty.
Regardless of how and where you share Apriori Beauty, always be consistent. I’m committed to sharing at least one product sample a day and following up 3 days later. In addition, referrals have played a significant role in gaining new Clients. I always ask for referrals because networking is the key to success. I love to reward my Clients; they’re the foundation of my business. I offer Clients a $25 gift card for every referral of theirs that places an order of $100 or more. Clients are my priority and I check in with them frequently by sending out personal ‘Thank You’ cards or sometimes a gift card for being a loyal Client. I appreciate their continuous support and love for the products. Without them, I wouldn’t have a business.

On days where you’re feeling unmotivated to work your business, keep in the mind the weekly paycheck and additional perks you can receive just by talking about Apriori Beauty with someone new. I love getting paid every Friday. It’s rewarding because it allows me to help support my family and do extra special things for my kids. Last year, I surprised my three boys and husband with a trip to Hawaii, which was funded by my Apriori Beauty income. I look forward to treating them to another fun activity this spring. Along with being able to surprise my family with gifts, my Apriori Beauty retail business has become a steady income, where I’m able to be there for my family without working long hours. Having the freedom to make my own hours is ideal because I have three active boys, whom I’m constantly driving to sports games and practices. I love what I do and I love sharing Apriori Beauty with others. I’ve hosted Beauty Bars out of my car at football games and even at the airport. This business allows me to share anywhere, anytime. I feel blessed to be part of this incredible Company and am excited to introduce it to even more people!

I became an Apriori Beauty Independent Consultant after working in network marketing for several years.  I am extremely passionate about what you put on your skin as it is a result of how you look and how you feel. Having a son that was diagnosed as an infant with severe food allergies, I started learning very quickly about product ingredients and the effects they can have on your body if they’re not safe and healthy. Due to this, I was truly inspired to use the purest products with safe ingredients that my family and I could use.  Apriori Beauty has it all; offering a household of products that work together to nourish your cells at the cellular level, promoting healthy, glowing skin.

I meet Clients every day and everywhere. Whether it’s at the gym (I’m also a Zumba instructor), the store, a party or event, I take advantage of my different surroundings and opportunities. I believe everyone I come across is a potential Client who deserves to hear about Apriori Beauty’s incredible skincare products. When talking with someone new, I ask them, “If there was something you could change about your skin, what would it be?” Based on their answer, I decide which product to recommend that would best suit their skincare needs. I then offer them a sample of the recommended product (or line) and relay I’ll be following up with them in a few days. I always include a sample of the Celloxylin® Enzyme Activated Micro Scrub and Pure Detox, Purifying Masque. These two treatment have greatly helped my daughter’s acne and are my “must-have” products when sharing with others. My number one retailing tip is to always be consistent in what you do and never give up. Even if someone tells you “no,” don’t give up. Maybe they’re not interested now, but that doesn’t mean they won’t be in the future. Make a note to check in with them in a few months and see if anything has changed. You never know, by then they might be seeking a new skincare line.

One of the many benefits I’ve experienced with retailing is that I get paid every Friday. This “right now money” is fun money for me to enjoy and spend. Retailing is a significant aspect of my Apriori Beauty business, in which I enjoy helping new and existing Clients meet their desired skincare needs. I work closely with my Clients in finding the best products suitable for their skin, and in turn, I’ve received business success with repeated sales.

As you’re out there sharing and retailing the products, it’s likely you’ll come across some amazing people who are interested in a generating supplemental or a full-time income and want to create their own successful business. I am the mother of 4 grown children, stepmother of 2, with a total of 12 grandchildren, and am a retired Corporate Credit/Customer Service Manager of 25+ years. Always eager and enthusiastic of my kids’ activities, I spent a lot of time on softball, baseball and soccer fields and was even softball manager for my daughters’ teams and team mother for my son’s baseball teams. During these last few years, I’ve started doing things I’ve always wanted to do (like oil painting), but couldn’t because I was too busy being Mom and businesswoman. I had always planned to take it easy after retiring, but fate stepped in and had far more exciting plans for me.

I attended my first Apriori Beauty Bar at my friend Robin Whitney’s house back in April 2015. I was just expecting to have a social evening and possibly buy a few products in support of my friend. What I experienced instead was a group of very professional, congenial and delightful businesswomen who were all excited about their products and expressed enthusiasm and support for their fellow associates at Apriori Beauty. When I discovered Apriori Beauty, I had already been in skincare direct sales for many years and wasn’t looking to “start” a new business all over again. I was in the beginning process of building a career in real estate and was only interested in finding a new antiaging skincare line that worked. As the saying goes, “never say never” because after seeing the glowing difference in my skin right after sampling the products, I couldn’t keep quiet about this new skincare line – I had to share it with everyone I knew. Plus, with its rewarding business model, I knew there was no going back, I was going to be an Apriori Beauty Independent Consultant.

In order to successfully retail, you need clients. One common question I often hear is “how do I get clients?” One successful way to get out there and meet new people is networking. I attend as many networking and community events that I can get to. I joined a local BNI (Business Network International) group and even formed a Meetup.com group for women in business, where we meet monthly for lunch and networking. STP! As in “See the People” is important because you want to build a rapport with someone and gain their trust before introducing the products. When I first meet someone, I ask them what they do and inquire about how I can help them with their business. I invite them to other network marketing events and set up a time to meet for coffee where we can discusses our businesses (whether they be a realtor, an attorney, account, teacher, etc.) and ask to get their opinion on mine. Note, I don’t ask them to sample a product, instead I say, “Here is what I do, I’d love for you try out the products and let me know what you think.” Then I pull out a few different products and we discuss what they like, didn’t like, and more often than not, it can lead to a sale, right there in the coffee shop. If they don’t end up placing an order, I hand them a few samples to take home and try out. I never leave a coffee date without asking for referrals. Whether they’re interested in the products or not, it never hurts to ask if they know of anyone who is in the market for a new safe and effective antiaging skincare. The worst they can say is “no.”

It’s crucial you take advantage of the time you have with your perspective client and keep their excitement for the products going. Because it’s so easy for that excitement to fade once they go home, I make it a point to ask them if they’d be interested in inviting a few friends over to experience the products (aka a Beauty Bar). I quickly explain my hostess plan: each hosts receives a free Celloxylin® Pure Detox, Purifying Masque or an Enzyme Activated Micro Scrub, and if they purchase right now (while we’re setting a date), they can purchase the $145 Celloxylin® “In the Bag” set for only $116! Who doesn’t love saving 20%? Since I always carry an “In the Bag” set with me, she’s able to take home her new products that day and we have a Beauty Bar date set. It’s a win-win for everyone. Beauty Bars are beneficial for not only earning higher commissions, but for also gaining new clients. You have access to several prospective clients at once and if each person refers one friend, that’s double the new clients you have from only one event.

I may be a business builder, but I’m a retailer first. I love the right now money and getting paid weekly on my Apriori Beauty Visa card. Plus, happy and consistent clients often turn out to be incredible Consultants on my team, who go on to be successful retailers and business builders themselves.

My Apriori Beauty journey began back in March of 2015 when I offered to host a “Launch” party for my daughter Olivia, who had just joined as an Apriori Beauty Consultant. It was at the party where I experienced the products and was so impressed by what I was putting on my skin that I signed up that evening as an Independent Consultant and purchased 99% of the products.

Being married, in my 50’s with three children between the ages of 15 and 27, and working part-time as a Pediatric Nurse, I’m around people of all ages who are interested in anti-aging skincare. In building and growing my business, I’ve adopted one of Apriori Beauty’s mantra as my own, Use Love Share. It’s always my opening line and when you use, love, and believe in a product, it’s very easy to sell.

I work in a busy office so I started off by sharing with my female co-workers. I brought in samples for everyone and left catalogs on their desks. Before long, I had everyone using Apriori Beauty. I then hosted a Beauty Bar where I invited my tennis teammates and girlfriends. Again, the products impressed all of them! One of my favorite times is when my daughter Olivia and I joined forces and brought in lunch for the women in my husband’s office for a special Mother’s Day treat. My husband had even purchased the Celloxylin® In the Bag Set for all the women. From that luncheon, I signed up and sponsored my first Apriori Beauty Consultant!

Since joining in March, my business has grown steadily. I always travel with samples and share at every opportunity I get. When it comes to samples, I like to make the extra effort and put them in lovely samples bags that include the product catalog and my business card. For me, packaging and presentation are vital when introducing the products, as it’s my potential Clients’ first exposure to Apriori Beauty. One valuable tip I’ve learned from fellow Consultant and Executive Director, Lisa Adam is to get the email address from the people you share samples with. That way, you can follow-up with them and get that much closer to a sale. In addition to handing out samples and developing a follow-up system, I’ve found that purchasing Apriori Beauty gift cards (you can get $25 gift cards for only $20 when you’re a Sr. Consultant/Manager/Director!) and using them to cover the cost of shipping for Clients has greatly benefited my sales. Spending a little on a luncheon or free shipping really does go a long way when you’re growing your business.

Along with being impressed with Apriori Beauty as a Company, I appreciate the standards by which the products are developed. There are a lot of skincare products on the market, but not all of them are safe nor effective. Being an Apriori Beauty Consultant has been an incredible journey that I’m blessed to be experiencing alongside my daughter Olivia. I’m excited to expand my business and continue Sharing products I Use and Love.

Maybe it was law of attraction because I wasn’t actively looking for a direct sales company when I found out about Apriori Beauty. In the back of my mind, I had been quietly thinking about what I wanted to do once I retired from my current profession of teaching diabetes education and nutrition. I knew I wanted to keep working with a good salary, but it needed to be on my schedule. It all started in the summer of 2013 when I joined Sharon Michaels’ MasterMind group. I had never heard of Sharon Michaels but frustrated with my own productivity at work and in need of a business coach and mentor, I took a chance. It was through the group and Sharon that I was introduced to Apriori Beauty and my future Consultant sponsor, Elizabeth (Liz) Dyke.

When I first heard of Apriori Beauty, I was so fascinated by its name that I immediately looked it up online and was taken to this beautiful website of anti-aging skincare. As someone who’s aging and wants to slow down the process, I was intrigued. Struggling with all the skin problems you often experience postmenopausal, I tried many high-end skincare lines but never found myself impressed with any of them. I reached out to Liz, who then sent me the Celloxylin® 6-strip skincare sample and a sample of the Celloxylin® Enzyme Activated Micro Scrub, recommending I combine the Crème Cleanse with the Micro Scrub. Upon sampling the products, it was in love right away. It was like being at a spa right in my own bathroom! I just had to know more about these products. After chatting with Liz, I decided to become an Apriori Beauty Independent Consultant to start building my own business.

I work full-time, so for me the most efficient way to Use Love Share is at vendor events. Being an educator, I’m comfortable with being in front of large groups of people and have noticed I work best in that environment. I’ve also signed up with local networking groups, including a weekly lunch group, a book club, and a monthly fundraiser group called “Women and Wine.” Whereas I had attended a few Beauty Bars hosted by fellow Consultants, I didn’t host my own till this last May. I don’t know why I waited so long because it was a huge success – I even booked a Beauty Bar for one of my Clients! My networking groups played a huge role in expanding my clientele list, thus making my Beauty Bar the success it turned out to be. Staying disciplined and focused on my business, attending networking meetings, following-up with Clients, and providing exceptional customer service have all been important factors in expanding my retail business and giving me a bigger weekly paycheck.

There’s many benefits to being an Apriori Beauty Consultant, but one of them is that there’s several ways to make money. Some Consultants are team builders, some are retailers, and some are both. For me, it starts with retailing, which I believe is the key to building my team. If a Client uses and loves the products, they may decide to become a Consultant and start building their own business. I’m really excited about the prospect of building a team because I love educating women about creating beautiful skin and showing them how it’s connected to their self-confidence. I consider beautiful skin part of health and wellness.

Since joining Apriori Beauty, I’ve experienced this wonderful community of women who are always going out of their way to support and help each other. Our community plus the fact that with Apriori Beauty, you can earn an unlimited income, sealed my decision to become a Consultant. At my age, you just can’t beat that!

While working as a Private Investigator, I was in a horrible car accident that left me with an injured back and disabled from working surveillance. With a new research position working from home, I was looking for something to supplement my loss in wages and just by chance, Apriori Beauty came into the picture. It was around that time I attended a local Beauty Bar, where I was introduced to Apriori Beauty’s products and had the opportunity to experience them. I started off slow with ordering the ViViD Hair Therapy Shampoo, Conditioner, and Treatment Oil and was soon purchasing the Celloxylin® Cellular Age Advantage skincare line. I was in love and amazed at how they made my skin visibly smoother and hydrated. Since I’m one who usually raves about things I use and love, I thought ‘why not make it a business of sharing my new favorite beauty products?’

Becoming an Apriori Beauty Independent Consultant seemed like a great opportunity to make up for my loss in wages and it has been just that. Since I work from home, it can be difficult to find potential Clients to share these wonderful products with. Both social media and Beauty Bars have been my saving grace in growing my business. I utilize my personal Facebook page to grow my business by posting Apriori Beauty’s sales and specials, as well as small blurbs focused on beauty tips and ingredient highlights. Apriori Beauty makes it easy for me to share because every day, they post something new and interesting on the Company Facebook page. I don’t even have to create the content myself. Instead, all I do is share Apriori Beauty’s Facebook posts onto my own page and include my website address so my Facebook friends know where to go if they want to purchase. It’s simple and has been incredibly effective in gaining new Clients and increasing retail sales. Along with posting on my page, I private message friends on Facebook who have either expressed interest or I feel might be open to trying something new and ask if they would like to try a sample, as well as invite them to a beauty bar I’m hosting if they’re in the area. In addition, I like to run contests where I’ll tell people that if they place an order within a certain time frame, they’ll be entered to win a free Celloxylin® Pure Detox Masque. Not only does this help generate retail sales, but it gets people excited.

I’m grateful for the opportunity I’ve been given to work with such amazing people. My sponsor and Manager, Lisa Adam has been nothing but supportive and motivating in helping me reach my goals, even when they’ve seen unattainable. Lisa is incredible in that she truly is a leader who works with and cares greatly about her team, and I love her for it. I’m so happy I made the decision to become an Independent Consultant because there is nothing better than getting paid weekly on my Apriori Beauty Visa Card and spending my earnings how I want to spend them.
