  • Hi everyone!
  • I actually sponsored 5 new Consultants last month!!
  • I spent the last year researching companies and skincare products
  • When Lisa contacted me out of the blue, she asked if I would be interested in trying a sample and looking at the opportunity
  • I told her I would try the sample and if I liked it, we could talk about the opportunity
  • When the sample came, I used it for 3-4 nights and was literally trying to squeeze every last drop out of it
  • I wanted to order the set … I liked it and wanted to try it for longer
  • I told Lisa not to get excited
  • While waiting for the set, I searched the website and Lisa and I started talking
  • With everything she was sharing, plus I knew I already liked the products, I got excited
  • She told me about the compensation plan, which completely blew me away
  • I told her I wanted to try every single product before committing to anything, so the next day, I ordered the All-in-one!
  • Meanwhile, I was tracking my Starter Kit and set order, I was so excited
  • I literally chased the mailman around the neighborhood to get it because I was leaving to go out of town
  • He thought I was a little crazy, but that’s okay!
  • I shared the samples from the Starter Kit with people that I trusted and knew would give their honest opinion
  • My fear was that I was desperate to find a company that I could connect with
  • Everyone that I shared my samples with started ordering!
  • Then my Mom tried it, which was a big thing for me
  • She supported me with my last business, but never really used any of it
  • She was my cheerleader who used a little bit of the product, then put it in the closet
  • Well, she tried it and said she wanted the full set and she wanted it now!
  • She said, “Lisa, you need to start selling this!”
  • So, I called Lisa to set up my business launch. I was all in.
  • Lisa and Nathaly came all the way from New York City for little ol’ me, I was blown away!
  • That’s what we did.
  • We got as many products to as many people as we could, and people just started to order. I didn’t have to ask them to order!
  • I have found that everyone that tries this product, buys it!
  • Every person that I put a sample into their hands, bought it.
  • I didn’t even have labels or business cards or anything like it yet
  • After only a couple of weeks, Lisa told me I was close to Manager
  • Ok, I’ll go for it! I started emailing people, I called people, I Facebook messaged people
  • Some people even bought without trying it because they trusted me
  • Now April is set up because I sent out so many more samples in March
  • People who weren’t able to come to my launch have even offered to do a party for me, which I wasn’t planning on doing
  • People want to try it because they hear the excitement in my voice
  • Then I learned that I had earned the new products and the DFI, I went first step Manager and I was a Top 5 retailer last week!
  • I have no idea what most of that means, at this point!
  • When I started with this, all I knew is what I felt about the products and what it did for me
  • I knew that there were great owners of this company because of how much they give
  • They answered the phone when I called customer service, and they are so willing to help!
  • I just know that I am in the right place, at the right time
  • I couldn’t be more excited, I don’t know how anyone couldn’t love these products and this company … to be a part of it
  • I am so excited for my future
  • I haven’t had this feeling in so long
  • I feel the fire, the passion is there
  • I’m excited to share this with everybody
  • I have a whole new pile of samples ready to go out
  • If I can do this business, anybody can do this business!
  • Up to this point it has been so natural, so simple
  • All I have to do is ask, “Will you try this, will you give me your opinon? I’d love to hear what you think about it.”
  • I don’t think there’s been one person that has come back to me and said no.
  • Everybody has either gone online and searched for my website, or called me asking “how do I do this,” or had me order it for them.
  • It’s been that easy, that natural, because I haven’t thought about it
  • I liked it and I just started passing it out!
  • There isn’t one product that I do not like
  • For the first time, I don’t have to use concealer … and its because of the skincare
  • Even my husband has noticed a difference in my makeup
  • Apriori Beauty’s makeup shows your natural beauty
  • My husband said, “Lisa, you’re glowing.”
  • Everything about every product, I love, I love, I love … and I want to get it into everybody’s hands!

Tonight you get to hear from several Consultants who have created amazing momentum in their businesses!

March is always an exciting, growth month. People are starting to receive their tax refunds, so they have money to spend and they want to spend it on their favorite things!

We hosted our first Apriori Beauty Bar in the office. We had a fantastic time! Thank you to Consultants Linda Altergott, Libby Jason, Terri Lindow and Tricia Baumgardner for presenting the products or opportunity at their station. Guests visited each of 4 stations for 10 minutes each to learn about the products and to get a raffle ticket for the product giveaway. It was a fun evening with friends, wine, appetizers and beauty. Thank you to Consultants Jacqui Agostinelli and Lisa Smith for the event format idea that we duplicated.

When Liz asked me to share how I was able to sponsor 4 consultants in February, I thought to myself Hmmmmm. Ok. How did I do this? I really didn’t have a written plan done, but I knew that I needed to focus my attention on sponsoring this month. The incentives for new consultants really made my job sponsoring easier. Who wouldn’t want a $50 gift card with the purchase of an All-In-One or $25 with a retailing kit, right? I have always been a HUGE believer in fate, timing, and there is a reason for everything …

It was my time this month and the Apriori SEEDS were already planted in December and January. During those months, I had sent out at least 25 samples to friends and acquaintances all over the United States. I want to tell you a little bit about the four people that I sponsored …

I knew Sari, Michelle, and Lisa R. from my days living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. All three were acquaintances of mine form high school and my synagogue. Sari and Michelle came onboard the first and second week of February. They both noticed my posts on Facebook and responded with a Yes, I am willing to try the products. Sari didn’t try them at first, but when she did, she went nuts over them. Her facialist even noticed a difference in her skin. Michelle had been using high end creams and lotions for years. She had spent mucho money on her products, as well as Sari. She loved Apriori and even asked me to send more samples. She tried some on her husband and he even noticed the difference. She also inquired on becoming a Consultant and even came to me with some fantastic ideas on how to share these products. Lisa came onboard the last week of February and went back and forth on becoming a Consultant. With some gentle coaxing, she succumbed to the powers that be!

My last Consultant, Bonnie knew that I had been sharing Apriori for a little over a year. I used to work for her at a small private school for kids with learning differences. Our mutual friend, Jane, is a dear client of mine and was letting Bonnie know how I was doing and how happy I was doing it. Bonnie came to our February symposium with every intention of signing up. Only problem is that she hadn’t even tried the products yet. She had heard how effective they were from Jane. We set up a time to chat and I answered all of her questions.

All 4 bought the All-in-One set. They knew that this was the best deal and the only true way to start your business. Two also added the Retailing kit. I never felt that I was pressuring them into anything. I knew that I had to work a little harder with some in showing them that this opportunity is a true gift and that they would be amazing at sharing. Yes, I was consistently persistent and Yes, I would not give up until I got a flat out NO!!! That is my personality. When I see a good thing, I just go for it!!!

I am so honored to be working with these four women and all of my amazing team!!!! I truly love what I do and what this company has given me … new friendships, reconnections, a desire to succeed, and a sense of being!!

When I was asked to speak for a few minutes tonight, my first thought was, “What am I going to say?” I don’t know how I did it, I just made it happen!

I set goals for myself at the end of January for what I hoped to accomplish during the month of February. My theme for the month was, “Focus on Family and Friends,” and that is exactly what I did. Know your family and friends — what are their needs and wants? Would they be a good fit? — Be persistent, but not pushy.  Honesty is always the best policy.

I sponsored my first two Consultants early in the month. When I asked the first one why she decided to join me and Apriori, she said “the proof is in Apriori.” We offer products that work and have a budget friendly start-up cost, and she saw a business opportunity. She also said you have to believe in the products.

My second Consultant that I sponsored was a Client and she was interested in purchasing the DFI (Derma Firm Illuminator Treatment System) when it was on sale. We had talked a little bit about her joining my team and what benefits she would receive. She is retired and volunteers once a week at the synagogue where I work. I knew she was looking for something to do and to make her own. I shared the opportunity when she called to order her DFI and she took it, along with an All-in-One! When I asked her why she joined, she simply answered … Renee.

Since February was a short month, I found myself half-way to one of my goals and needed to get two more Consultants signed up before the end of the month. I spoke to my Mom who is always there when I need her. I said, I know you like to help me out whenever you can and I have an idea where you can make some money and so can I! All the while, you will be using Apriori and telling your friends about the business we are in together! Just like my 2nd Consultant, my Mom too is retired and volunteers once a week at the synagogue for me. When I asked her why she joined, she said “I needed something to do and who I am to turn down my daughter!”

Sponsoring number four took me to the last day of February. Here is where honesty truly came in. I sent text messages and private Facebook messages to several friends who had expressed an interest in Apriori and who I thought would be a good fit for my team. I said in my message that I had until the end of business day to reach my goal of sponsoring four Consultants in the month of February and that I was trying to win a prize worth $775. Within minutes, my neighbor and friend called and said, “Okay, I’ll do it!” I was shocked! She had originally told me she would be a Client, but don’t expect her to sell. She purchased a DFI from me when they were on sale and after using it a few times she had someone comment on her face. There is a pretty good chance she will be selling a DFI to someone very soon herself.

Right now I am working on the next two Consultants to join my team. One is a licensed Aesthetician and the other is a well-known Chiropractor here in Phoenix.  I know they will both be awesome additions to the Apriori family. I have let them know that my ultimate goal is to grow with the Apriori family and need like-minded individuals by my side to help me achieve that goal.

On my desk sits my Father’s (rest in peace) name plate and on one side it reads, “If it is to be, it is up to me … make it happen.” My Father was a wonderful sales manager of something intangible, insurance policies, and I am trying to become manager of something that is tangible and an insurance policy for your skin.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to speak tonight and of course, thank you to my director Karen for introducing me to Apriori and being persistent, not pushy, with me.

How does she do it?

  • One of my goals is to have my team beat me.
  • Now that I have a full-time job, I’m waiting to see someone else’s name up on the list. Here’s what I’ve done …
  • There’s a group of us that share our ideas
  • Here’s the bottomline … you need to be passionate about what you are sharing
  • I’m very passionate, I’m very honest and I’m very open about it
  • I am generous with my samples
  • I’ve learned to get their information when I share a sample, and I add them to my list
  • Continue to tell your story. As you meet new people, tell them your story
  • How you started, why you got into this business
  • In your story, talk about the products … the pure, natural ingredients
  • Why they are so special
  • You need to define who you are, create your own brand … your own brand personality and be consistent
  • Decide who you are, your brand personality and go with it
  • Be comfortable in what you are sharing
  • If you have questions, ask the experts
  • Send your product questions to the product team, ask Apriori Beauty
  • Or, get on Facebook and ask other Consultants
  • The home office has the answers, don’t make something up
  • Be honest if you don’t have the answer, say “let me find that out for you.”
  • When I started out, I went on Facebook and told people that I had found something new
  • I change my photo on Facebook every 4 months
  • Every time I change my photo, I’ve had amazing results
  • People comment that I look fabulous, what are you doing, I reply with Apriori and offer to send a sample
  • Make your Facebook photo You, so people can see the change in your skin
  • That is one of the things that has helped me promote these products
  • I show people the changes in my skin
  • I also show and share the results other Consultants have experienced
  • I share the Before|After photo testimonials
  • Don’t O.D. on Facebook, don’t cry wolf with a million posts about Apriori Beauty
  • Share things that are different
  • Be honest and real
  • Find the people that you are comfortable with and share
  • I email all the time, each time with a different message
  • I always thank my Clients after a purchase and I ask for referrals
  • That’s what I do!

Q. How do you meet new people? You mentioned you are generous with your samples …

  • I live in a small town. I always carry my samples.
  • I share referrals with my team.
  • When someone friends me on Facebook, I immediately post something about Apriori Beauty so that they see the post. After a week or so, I’ll send them a private message saying, “I know you’ve seen my posts, I’d love to share a sample with you.”
  • I always add the Micro Scrub sample to the Turn Back Time Capsule
  • I mail a lot of Time Capsules out!
  • Anytime someone says I would love to try them and I have a friend that would too, I send a sample!

Question from Lee … When I hand the samples out, everyone loves them, but they don’t end up buying. What can I do?

A. Ask them, “What was your favorite product? I hear what you’re saying … why don’t you start with the cleanser or the scrub.” … then contact them again when items go on sale. Start them out slow.

From day 1, I have acted as a Platinum Director and moved forward.  To obtain success and move up, you NEED a team, and not just any team, a team that wants to build as much as you do.

You have to love your Apriori business to be successful.  If you’re not genuinely excited by it, find out why.  What isn’t working for you?

“Speed of the leader, is the speed of the pack”.  Reach out and ask people to join your business.  Explain to your clients the opportunity and your experience with Apriori.  People won’t want to be left out; they will want to take part in the success with you.

Create a list of people to reach out to and start going down name by name.

Love your business, be excited, lead by example and SHARE your successes.

Maintain your business:

  • Find out what your consultants want from Apriori and help them achieve it (each consultant will be different).
  • Stay connected with your team.  Pick and choose your team wisely.
  • Taking it one step further – communicate as a team (i.e. team calls, emails, Facebook groups).  Apriori Team United has proven to be an effective and powerful tool in connecting all of us consultants together.
  • Incentivize and reward your team.
  • Be a business partner, not a manager.
  • No negativity allowed.  If someone needs to vent, they need to do it with their sponsor privately.

Made the decision to jump into Apriori Beauty and immediately started building her business.

You don’t have to know everything about the business.  If you don’t know the answer, call your sponsor, check out the website, ask in Team United.

I used every avenue and resource I had to start my business.

Customer Service is integral.  Go that extra mile in helping your clients/consultants.  If they have a question and you don’t know it, find out the answer with them.

    My advice and what I have done in these short three weeks goes beyond just going for it:

  • Get on the Facebook group – it is an amazing network of support. I instantly felt like I was part of the team, full of excitement and positivity.  Everyone is here for you, to help you, and that is how we all will grow
  • Never miss a weekly call – they are amazing blasts of information and MORE positivity.
  • As soon as I got my materials, flashcards, and manuals in the mail, I would make time every day to read and learn something new. Most times this meant 30 minutes before I would go to bed!
  • Set goals – and know why you are setting these goals. For me, I love looking fabulous but am done starting companies & creating wealth for other people. I am ready to work on mine!
  • Declare that you will achieve your goals and then, SET MORE!
  • SHARE, SHARE, SHARE!
  • Do not get wrapped up in the business end of things. For me, this product, this business is something so amazing that if one of my girlfriends had come upon it I WOULD EXPECT them to share with me, so I MUST SHARE with them. Don’t keep it a secret!
  • Plan a party, open your doors, and don’t prejudge anyone.  The more open you become, the more successful you will be. Your energy, body and finances are one in the same.
  • Have fun and know that opportunity is everywhere.

3. Let me ask you a question: Why did you decide to join Apriori Beauty? When the business opportunity was presented to you why did you even consider buying the kit? Why are you willing to make the time to learn the business?

4. Network marketing is a business model. You own your own business!

5. The key here is that network marketing is a BUSINESS model – as soon as you decide you want to work your Apriori Beauty as a business – to make money on Friday’s and to earn residual income – you are now an entrepreneur – you own your own business. As soon as you make that commitment to growing your business and building a team  – you’ve made an unconscious and conscious mindset shift.

  • Two-thirds of working women earn less than $30,000 a year.

We are over the top excited about all the happenings this month and next

It’s hard to believer that we are only 5 weeks away from MLB, and I have to say that it is going to be an extraordinary event

Susan will share with you more about MLB in a minute, but before we go there, I wanted to take a minute to recognize some of our amazing Consultant successes from September …

Tomorrow the downline bonuses for September will be posted in the Back Office, and paid on Friday! After all of that is finalized, we’ll create and post all of the recognition lists for the month. So, tonight, we’re going to touch on just a few of them … since the month isn’t finalized yet …

On that note, I also wanted to say Thank you to Gold Director, Susan Shaheen for all of her valuable insight. She’s sent us so many great ideas and thoughts that have turned into some of the promotions we’ll be sharing with you for October.

Louri registered 6 new Clients. Libby Jason registered 15 new Clients, and I know from talking to her in the office, that 12 of those new Clients have already ordered from her. Jami Taguchi registered 6 new Clients. Candace Dye registered 5 new Clients in September. There is a direct correlation between registering new Clients and gaining Client sales! They are proof!

MLB 2012   |  the place to be this November! This year’s training schedule is amazing. All of our top Consultants and Top Retailers will be sharing their extraordinary knowledge and experiences. With an extra day of training this year, we’ve power-packed the schedule with the majority of time dedicated to our Consultant trainers, since they are walking the talk!   • What a glorious time of year for our business! This is the time that 60% of all cosmetic sales historically happen … in the last four months of the year. In my personal business, I’ve seen this happen. Direct sales companies also grow the most in the last four months of the year.
  • Kids are back in school, people start thinking about earning extra money for the holidays. This is the time to tell people what you do and to offer the opportunity.
  • I tell people that I represent the Apriori Beauty products, and I teach others how to do the same. It’s that simple.
  • A little about myself … I’ve been married to my college sweetheart for 43 years! I trained him well! :) We have 3 grown children. The youngest is engaged and the other two are married with children … we have 3 grandchildren. Our grandchildren and their parents all live in California, so I make many, many trips to California (6 so far this year)!
  • In my 30+ years in this business, I haven’t missed one company conference. MLB in Las Vegas is the place to be this November!
  • August 6, 1975 I received my first Starter Kit. I was in my 20s. I was a first grade teacher. I had two small children. I thought there had to be something else that I could do to stay home with my children … I could sell cosmetics!
  • Think about that when you talk to young women. Most people don’t know that they can start their own business. I was with that company for 12 years. I got to the top level with that company, Director, there were 25 of us!
  • After that, I discovered a botanical line. It was a wonderful experience.
  • When I joined Apriori Beauty, I realized I had all of those same wonderful feelings. When I tried the samples, I was surprised with each step. That says a lot. I could tell the difference. I was taken by surprise.
  • After so many years, I felt that passion inside of me again. My daughter was the first person I told. She tried the products and was amazed. She could see a difference.
  • The first month after joining, I reached my goal of Manager. I had a plan to achieve it.
  • It was all about retail, about sharing the products!
  • It’s great that Apriori Beauty sends out emails to our Clients … normally you have to pay for this service!
  • Why Apriori Beauty? It’s a ground-floor opportunity. It’s a boutique company. MLB will be intimate. You’ll make amazing friendships. The business keeps us in-touch with friends.
  • I love that we have a retail opportunity. We maximize our pay when we build and support our team of retailers.
  • Weekly pay! As a teacher, I got paid once a month! Most MLM companies pay monthly!
  • This business is fun! The amazing support … everyone wants to help each other. On our Facebook page, we ask questions and every in the group answers! We learn from each other.
  • Personal development. You will grow and develop personally and you will help others grow and develop personally!
  • Why go to MLB? If Apriori Beauty is your business, then MLB is not an option, it’s a must for your business! You have time to sell extra to earn money to pay for your trip to Las Vegas!
  • I love that we can learn from each other at MLB. We can spend time at the pool together. You can brainstorm with other Consultants about your business.
  • You will meet new people … make new lifetime friends.
  • The invigoration, motivation and inspiration is priceless.
  • You’ll use what you learn right away. End the year with momentum and start the new year with results!
  • When I started, I didn’t realize I was in MLM … all I knew is that I loved sharing the products.
  • I went to a meeting with the first company and told the company Director that I wanted to be a top sales Director, as fast as I can … I wanted to replace my teaching income. She said, “this is exactly what you need to do … Within the next 12 months, you need to have at least 200 Clients. Then you’ll have a goldmine … you’ll constantly be meeting new people, you’ll have reorders, you’ll get referrals, and you’ll know people who are loving the product and you can share the business opportunity with them! — this is what I have followed for so many years!!
  • My sponsor in the first company … I always thought, “Wow, she is such a people builder.” Every time we spoke on the phone, she always made me feel so good. I never thought that her objective was to impress me with herself. She wanted to impress me with how special I was. And it worked! Flattery will get you everywhere. She always made me feel special. We’d get off the phone and I always felt so good … talking about myself. If you don’t feel good about yourself, this isn’t going to work!
  • Husband training … if you have an Apriori Beauty appointment at night, when you head out the door, don’t leave with a smile … all happy … instead, say “I’m really sorry that I have to work tonight. It’s a really important appointment. I’ll get home as soon as possible!” Stop being so happy about your business (ha ha)!
  • Are you asking questions, then listening? To be interesting, you have to be interested! You need to do more asking and less talking. Let people tell you about themselves.
  • Your calendar … it needs to be full! Put your life into your Apriori Beauty calendar. Highlight the days and times you are available, then fill that time. Get your life and your business on your calendar. When you are busy, people want to hang with you!
  • Building your team … who are you talking to about joining you? Are you talking to people (Clients) who are loving the products? If you are just introducing the products to someone, then drip the opportunity on them, just a bit — “This is my job, I love what I do.” “Watch me, you may know someone that is looking for something part-time and fun.
  • Plant the “opportunity” seed. It may never grow, but it just might! Get them started on product first. Clients make better Consultants!
  • Sponsor teachers … sponsor nurses, they have really thick skin. They appreciate the money that can be made for the short time involved.
  • Try to get an appointment — samples are a last resort. Give them a sample in person and show them how to use it. Let them put the product on. I always bring along a 30-day set when I meet people. I tell them that I’ve already paid the tax and shipping, and they can have it that day! They can get started right away using the products and there’s a 30-day money back guarantee.
  • Use the 3-F’s for any rejection — Feel, Felt, Found — I know how you FEEL, I FELT that way too, but here’s what I FOUND! For example, if a woman says, “I’ve tried a lot of these products and I never see results … I’m not good about using the whole system.” RESPONSE: “I understand, I know exactly how you feel, because I was a soap and water user before I was introduced to skincare, it was a lot easier, but the change in my skin. I know how you feel, I felt the same way too, but what I found is it turned into a really good habit, and I’m having fabulous results! — “I’d like to have another business, but I just don’t have the time.” … “I know exactly how you feel, because I was wondering how I was going to work this in, I felt the same way. But I found that if fit in the nooks an crannies. When I’m out somewhere, meeting someone for something else, I’ll ask them to try my samples. It’s great because we’re launching this new business in your area!”
  • Meet new people! Don’t wait for people to get back to you. Go find them! I just did an expo!
  • Truth or Crumbs … Good Customer Service is the ideal thing to grow your business? Many say Truth, when the answer is Crumbs! Good Customer Service is the very, very basic, given thing to do! It’s the bottomline. If you don’t give good Customer Service, you don’t belong in business!
  • You need to BELIEVE! Believe in yourself, the product, the company, the industry. Believe in others! Let others know that you believe in them!
  • Take pride! Show your pride in everything you do! You are always an example. People are watching you.
  • Are you a business person? Are you dressing like one? Wear your favorite outfits on your appointments.
  • Is your enthusiasm contagious? Smile, whether you like it or not, get in the habit! Your voice changes when you are smiling. People can tell that you are glad to hear from them when you are smiling!
  • Build your business like a talent scout. Be on the look out for people that you would love to have on your team! Start forming your chicken list. When people say they love the products, tell them you’d love to meet them for coffee to run the compensation plan by them. Talk money and people listen. Tell prospects that you have 2 openings in your organization to train new people this month. Maybe she’s one of those people? Or, maybe she knows someone?
  • You want others to want what you have! People want clear, beautiful skin! You want people to want our products … great skin … our business! Share your story … why you wanted it!
  • If you decide to build a downline … there’s one word that will help you — INTENTION — your intention! If you do things with intention, they will happen! If you are building a strong retail business, then you are doing it with intention. You are: llining up your appointments, doing your follow-up calls, you’re getting out there, seeing new people, meeting new people, getting referrals, you’re sticking your neck out because your skin is thick (like teachers and nurses)! If you want to build a downline, do it the same way. Treat your downline business the same way as your retail business!! How many appointments do you have for new Consultants next week? If you don’t have 2 or 3 because a couple might cancel, get appointments! Appointments to drop off samples, to teach someone about the business … appointments to go through the sets, to use the DFI! How many people have you followed-up with and made appointments with next week to share the business with?
  • I’m going to say it again … Be interesting … be interested! People really only hear a small portion of what you say. Don’t say too much, not more than 2 sentences on what you do. This is a hands-on business. Ask people questions about themselves!

  • I’m in a new chapter of my life, my twins are now 18 and they are off to college
  • Joined Apriori Beauty in June, 2011. It’s been an amazing fun, fun journey!
  • I’m newer to network marketing … was in one other company before Apriori Beauty
  • I love to inspire people
  • At church this past weekend, our pastor’s message was about Heros
  • As I listened, it made me think how we can be Heros in this business.
  • His definition of a hero was, “someone who does a small act that makes a huge difference in someone’s life”
  • He talked about super Heros … someone to look up to. Everybody has someone different in their life who is their hero or who they look up to.
  • I thought, we do that! Our amazing products when shared can make a huge difference in someone’s life … by helping someone’s health, or helping them financially
  • Rita Goodson is one of my Heros, because she introduced me to Apriori Beauty.
  • At the end of the sermon, the pastor showed a picture of a women who invited him to youth camp that changed his life … and he’s never been the same since.
  • Think about that one phone call that you can make to somebody that could change their life with this opportunity … you can be someone’s Heros
  • We need more Heros … real Heros that make a difference in someone’s life
  • I also volunteer at my church teaching 2nd grade boys. This past Sunday they were talking about the Olympics.
  • They showed a clip of Derek Redmond from the 1992 Olympics. He was in the 400 meter track & field race.
  • It was an amazing, inspirational story that brought tears to my eyes!  [CLICK HERE TO WATCH THE CLIP]
  • This made me think about Apriori Beauty and how it’s like the Olympics.
  • Olympic athletes train for years, it doesn’t happen overnight.
  • Derek Redmond fell, he tore his hamstring, but he got up … he didn’t give up! He finished the race. He said, “When you don’t give up, you cannot fail!”
  • I kept thinking about how our business is like being in the Olympics. You have to train to be in the Olympics … you have to train to do this business.
  • It all goes back to our Mission Statement …
  • Beauty through Pure Product Innovation
  • We have amazing products because you see results
  • We need to be a product of the product
  • You need to Love the product to be able to Share the product
  • We are coached by our upline, by other Consultants
  • Everything is available to us to train on what we need to do to help someone else
  • Like the Olympics, your training never stops. You need to keep learning, training.
  • Find inside of you a passion for the products. When you are passionate about something you love, it shows
  • I love what I do
  • I’m thankful that I’ve been able to stay at home with my kids
  • One of my biggest passions has been to open a Foundation in my Husband’s name … he was killed by a drunk driver 15 years ago.
  • Because of this, I know life is too short.
  • I live life to the fullest every single day
  • I had to be my kid’s Hero. I had to show them that they can never give up!
  • Every day I have a purpose to get up.

  • The focus should be on the relationships, not the sale
  • I have the mindset of loving on someone … finding out where they’re at … getting to know them first
  • Once you love the products, then you build the relationships, the third point of the Mission Statement happens … Beauty through personal success!
  • You will be successful when you build the relationships and share something you love.
  • Be the best retailer on your team, because the compensation plan pays the most on the front side of the plan!
  • If you’re stuck, that’s when you need to call your coach. Remember, we’re in the Olympics! Your upline is here to coach you!
  • If you’re stuck … remember, it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it! You could be saying something the wrong way. That’s when you need to call somebody.
  • Be the best reatiler. Build a solid foundation with Clients. Because you will get the medal … to Silver … to Gold … to Platinum!
  • We’re not a title driven company. It’s all about volume.
  • Create the volume and team that you want to have. It’s a team effort that will get you there.
  • Like we did, we buddy’d up! When you buddy up and grow this business with somebody, you create momentum … it creates enthusiasm … enthusiasm is contagious!
  • You don’t give up. Apriori Beauty has all the tools you need to grow your business … if that’s what you choose.
  • This brings me to Karen. She was skeptical at first (she was a soap girl!)
  • She’s our newest Executive Director …

I joined Apriori as a consultant shortly after using the products and noticing a major transformation in the appearance of my skin! I absolutely loved the way the products made me feel and I saw the potential to help others who spend their mornings on the tennis courts. I called Lisa Smith and told her that I wanted in! She giggled and told me to come on over, sugar!! She registered me on her computer that same day.

When asked to be part of this call, I had to ask Lisa which direction I should take here. I am passionate about so many things… our products; the experiences, teaching people about the products, and helping my team become the best that they can be!! She told me to briefly talk about event planning, because you enjoy that very much… so I will talk about event planning

ONE of my favorite things to do in Apriori is the events. I always have a blast interacting with the people that come through the doors, setting up the table, handing out Elixir shots, squirting lotion on their hands… Most importantly, I am passionate about teaching the women and men out there how they would best benefit from each product, depending on their needs. Just a side note here… It is not about our skincare needs, it should be about theirs. Hearing questions, comments, concerns, and their life stories is where it’s at. Finding out that we share similar backgrounds, friends, activities, are also an added bonus, for sure.

I truly believe in Apriori beauty and I am so thankful for the products and how they make us feel! Like I tell everyone, I am equally or even more happy for the relationships that I am making throughout this journey. It is not only about the products. Apriori Beauty has changed me as a person- I am back to the Karen that I want to be. This company has changed lives, including mine.

Oh and I can’t forget about being able to work alongside my Aunt Beverly and the lively Miss Smith!! Btw, you both will be at our next event in September with me… I enjoy their positivity and support!!! Now on to how Beverly got involved… I will let her tell her story… All I want to say is that it started with one persistent mother-in-law and a beautiful capsule named Turn Back Time!!!!

(Beverly, unfortunately, couldn’t make the call … she went on a hike earlier in the day that turned into a 5-hr adventure in the mountains that turned into altitude sickness. Karen and Paula share her story for her …)

Karen:  Beverly called me after my mother-in-law had shared with her that my face looked fantastic. She wanted to know what I was using. So, I met her at her salon and shared the Turn Back Time Capsule sample. Before trying it, she said she wasn’t going to sell it, “so don’t even go there!” I told her that’s not why I was there. I wanted her to see my face and to explain how the products worked. I was bouncing off the walls, because I get so excited sharing them. She took the capsule home with her and the next day she said she loved the products … her skin was so smooth, her eyes weren’t puffy anymore, she loved it! Then she added that “I’m thinking about selling it!” It was a complete turnaround, she really shocked me, because she was so sure about not wanting to sell it before trying it. It was funny that she came onboard.

Paula Yudelevit …

  • Beverly and Paula are friends from college, but had not spoken in 38 years. After a reunion cruise, they were back in touch and Beverly shared the Apriori Beauty products and opportunity with Paula. Since then, they’ve built their businesses together. Paula focused on their college friends, and Beverly focused on the models from her agency. Together, they helped each other, and recently they both promoted to Manager and Beverly also promoted to Executive Director.
  • This business is about the friendships created. It has changed me as a person.
  • I’ve had to step out of my comfort zone, as I’m sure many of you have had to do.
  • Everyone has their unique story to tell. This experience has made me so much different as a person.
  • We’re not in competition with each other, we’re sisters. We have a sisterhood. We have a commonality … a love for the products!
  • This opportunity is about relationships. We’ve all been promoted as a team. We work together, and I’m never going to be tired about talking about us!
  • We are all very excited about sharing Apriori Beauty. It’s not only allowed me to look and feel gorgeous, but people are talking about how great my skin looks.
  • It’s also brought me closer and deepened relationships with my family, my friends that I will always cherish. And I love that I’ve reconnected with high school and college roommates … with women that I haven’t spoken to in years. Even family and friends and the new people that have come into this.
  • It was easy for me because there is a common thread of beauty … who doesn’t want that?
  • The enthusiasm that I have is contagious. And, I can hear the enthusiasm in my Hero Beverly’s voice when she called me about using and loving these products. I didn’t hesitate. I was running out of some of my current products. What do I have to lose, I’ll try it! In one week, I became a Consultant and didn’t even tell Beverly.
  • My Clients and my Consultants hear it when I share my love for the products. And the Consultants that I have share it when they share it with their Clients. We’re a great team. We all help each other with our events.

Be someone’s Hero! We’re all here to help you!

If you ever get out to California for one of the Consultant trainings, it was a blast! At the last training in July, Candace Dye did a great job showing us how to help our Consultants open their retail store. Women are always buying shoes, etc. Why not ask them to buy from your Apriori Beauty store? Encourage them to be your Client. Clients get the emailed newsletter each month. Show your new Consultants how to get around “their new store” … the website.

Get on these Connect Calls and your team calls. We are all on the team … the team Apriori Beauty Olympics. We’re all going to win! Although, it isn’t a race, it’s a journey. And, we’re all on the journey together.

I want to leave you with a quote … “Be inspired to make a change. Take charge of your life. You must be the change you want, to see change in the world!”

Setting Goals-What do you want?  Figure it out with thought and dreaming…vision boards, journaling.  Make the decision to be ALL IN. Urgency without desperation.
Your business will grow as big as your vision.

Goals are the gas-Activity is the engine for the business- Declarations are the gas pedal pressed down

Create a full calendar- getting stuck…make calls, send emails, facebook … connect.
You will be out of balance in order to get balance back.

Raise the bar in your own business- BE the best consultant on your team. Are you committed to being the difference?  You must BE in order to lead.  Otherwise you are simply managing. Managing doesn’t get the job done. Leaders do not make excuses they create and coach their teams to win!

Be the leader and others will watch what you do.

Decide you will get comfortable being uncomfortable- the fortune is in the follow up

Create your brand-people will see what we create- if you treat this as a hobby, then that’s what it is. If you treat it as a business, then THAT is what it is

Be in it to win it

When people know where you are going they will follow you.

Protect your vision-work on your vision daily- See yourself as a platinum director at the top of the company.
Declare it-I am a platinum director at MLB 2012. I have a team of full of driven entrepreneurs ( even if it’s a team of two)!
Do not tone your vision down-Connect with your team on a daily basis-know where they are at. Tell them your vision daily.
Be relentless to the people you care about, make it about them. Share with your heart and present the business with an exclamation point!

Expect your best all the time- expect to maintain, expect to go manager, expect to promote a manager, expect to win the incentives, expect to see yourself as a top retailer , expect to walk the stage at MLB.

You must LIVE it to TEACH it.

Do not rest on success- keep going. We do the same thing over and over and over again until we reach the goal and then we simply do it again.  This is simplicity at its finest. There is NOTHING complicated in this business. Just simple desire to achieve with the finest skincare and body products available to us all and an amazing ground floor business opportunity that can work for everyone.

Be consistently committed- be in consistent action mode- if you are stuck…reach out to one of us or your direct upline. We are a United Team for a reason. We are creating a team of committed leaders to raise this company up and build walls of financial security around us all!

Have zero tolerance for negativity and drama- it will be inevitable- conflicts among team members, drama. Ask yourself or your team member –is this getting you closer or farther from your goal? Drop it and keep moving. Do not give the drama oxygen or add wood to the fire. Stay laser beam focused and your business will grow.  This is no better time to live this than NOW. There will always be some sort of drama when there are so many different personalities involved but you as leaders must show your team how to let it go and move forward.

Some of you have said I can’t lead- If you say so- thoughts become things so choose powerful statements- I AM A LEADER-I have a team of 20 powerful leaders leading their own teams of 20!

Do not be afraid to lose people because you pushed too hard- Be afraid of losing someone because you did not push hard enough. Your job is to teach, coach and empower the leaders you bring on board.

You must dedicate yourself to personal growth- every day- reading, listening to CD’s or speaking with people you admire. Glean what you can from the best and you will improve your coaching skills.

Have an attitude of gratitude for everything in your life- stop complaining about what you do not have and start speaking words of gratitude for all you have and as long as you are not pushing up daisies, believe me you have plenty to be grateful for. Start listing small things and watch your list grow from there.

We are a United Team, especially now- when we help one we help us all. It does not matter if a person is your downline, sideline , upline …we help anyone who needs it. As we raise this company up, there is no time to be caught up in thoughts such as, “ well what I do to help her doesn’t directly help me.” Believe me –I believe in karma- do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Whatever you give out will come back to you tenfold.

Design what is possible for people. We must encourage them to dust off their dreams of so long ago. When you paint possible, you will gain teammates.   Do not promote easy, promote possible! Success is not easy, it’s hard work  but oh so worth the effort!

Decide today you are no longer willing to stay where you are- join me on the skinny branch where all the fruit is.
Most all BREATHE- this is not a race but a journey, enjoy each step along the way, have fun building this amazing business called Apriori Beauty.  Work with urgency not desperation, no mania required. When you bring on a manic client or consultant as you will, work with them on breathing
