Paula was chosen as this month’s Great Start Consultant for several reasons … 1. She’s built a strong team in a short period of time, 2. She promoted to Manager in her first three months, 3. She also qualifies as a Right Now Retailer, and 4. because her enthusiasm for the products and the opportunity are contagious! Paula is an incredible retailer and an amazing team leader …
“I am truly honored to be chosen as a Great Start Consultant. I’m having so much fun using and sharing these amazing products. Apriori Beauty has affected my life in a way that I never expected. Yes, it’s using, loving and sharing, but it’s also allowed me the opportunity to reconnect and deepen friendships that I will cherish forever.

I reconnected with my college classmates on a cruise, 38 years later! I’m in the middle with the floral top. Linda Sisolak and Julie Fischer (both Consultants on my team ) are pictured, as well as several of my Clients. My sponsor, Beverly Sage is in black, bottom right.
“Beverly Sage, my sponsor, is one of these true friends. She and I reconnected after 38 years, when a group of our college classmates cruised to the Bahamas in October of 2010. She called me one day and told me about the skincare line that she had just started using and loved the way it made her look and feel, inside and out. Since Beverly owned the top modeling and talent agency in Miami, of course I listened! I was scraping the bottom of my Kiehl’s products (I was using Kiehl’s for ten-plus years) so I ordered the 30-day set thinking if I didn’t like it, I would just go back to Kiehl’s. The week after I received my 5-step program, I signed up to be a Consultant! I didn’t even tell Beverly.
“I am not a network marketer. I am really not good at sales. I am a marketing and brand communications professional, owner of MarketWorks LLC. I help my clients create their brand personalities – or what I like to call the look, tone & feel – increasing their sales. However, after trying these products, and seeing what they did for me, sharing Apriori Beauty with others wasn’t like selling at all! People saw the difference in my skin and asked me. I couldn’t stop talking about them!
“When Beverly brought me into the world of Apriori Beauty, she knew I would love it. I was her first call! She knew I would be successful at sharing these products, but I think surprised, too, at just how successful. Quite candidly, I surprised myself. It’s not my nature to jump into something face first (pun intended)!
“We became a great team. Beverly had her models to focus on, and suggested that I connect with our college friends. Linda Sisolak and Julie Fischer were two of these true friends who are now Consultants. Three other classmates are clients as of this writing.
“One of my very first Clients became a Consultant with her first order! Jaci Friedlander, a cosmetologist, was my sister’s best friend growing up. I knew she would love this line and she did! She’s made her place at the MLB Thanksgiving table!
“Kristi Newsome is the CFO of Wisp Resort here in Deep Creek Lake and actually was introduced to the products by my partner, Steve! He uses and loves the products, too! I went to her office and demo’d the DFI! She also has a place at the Thanksgiving table!
“Donna Thall is the owner of Nola’s Salon and is my newest consultant. She’s going to be a superstar! Nola’s is the best hair salon in the county and her customers are asking her what she’s done to her skin! She’s able to take their orders right in the salon.
“One of my challenges was (and still is) going outside of my comfort zone. I had to stop apologizing for being so excited about these products! I really am not comfortable selling. Apriori Beauty has almost reinvented my brand personality!
“When I started sharing Apriori Beauty, I sent an email to my family and friends, as most of you did. I added a picture of one side of my face! Talk about enthusiasm! I always carry my tote and samples with me and have met new clients everywhere – several have been in the post office as they watch me mail out the TBTCs! Two women I had never met came to our house with a realtor. They noticed my display in my office. I took them to the bathroom for a 20EX Acid Peel demo. One bought the All-in-One set on the spot!
“As Jaci just reminded me, my success comes from selling myself first (I’m very enthusiastic and you can see how great my skin looks and feels), the products second (why I look and feel so great) and the company third (the fabulous women who started it).
“We had our first party on July 26 for Kristi. Beverly and Linda came to Deep Creek Lake to help out. We laughed and cried and had so much fun just being together. The event was a huge success, in spite of the fact that we had a thunderstorm with tornado warnings!
“Enthusiasm is contagious. Don’t be afraid of it – step out of your comfort zone and be honest when telling your own Apriori Beauty story. Just have fun! I truly am and love how it’s changed my life – SISTAHOOD!
“P.S. On the way to taking Beverly to the airport, talking about how three 59-year-old women could look so good and our SISTAHOOD, a car with three young (it’s all relative) guys rolled down their window and waved to us as they passed by! Okay – maybe I had a tail light out, but hey – we’ll take it!”
